Q: How do I send you my media (ex/ photos or drawings) to be editied?

A: You have a number of different options for sending us your photos for editing. It is really up to you, but we suggest the following methods:

  • If your photos are in digital format, they can be E-mailed to us provided the total cummulative file size of all images combined are less than 5MB. For files of greater size, please send them to us via mail on a CD, DVD or USB key. These items will be returned to you after file transfer is complete.
  • If you have hard copy photos, please mail or courier them to us. Files should be properly packaged to ensure they are not damaged while in transit. Suggested packing methods are: (1) sandwich photos between 2 pieces of cardboard, (2) place cardboard sandwiches in a bubble-envelope which can be picked up from any stationary store. A cardboard box can also be used as a substitute for the bubble-envelope. (3) Label outside of the box with "Fragile: Do not bend or fold".

Q: What safeguard measures do you take to ensure our photographs are not damaged when being worked on?

A: At Pixel Focus, we are committed to ensuring the preservation of you photographs while in our care. All workers handle your items with gloves and when not in use, your items are stored in sealed containers.

Q: Do the quoted rates include delivery fees and taxes?

A: No. Delivery fees and taxes are not included in the quoted rates and costs. For an estimate of your particular delivery fee, please contact us directly. Also not included in the quoted rate is the cost of deliverable media (CDs or DVDs) which is $1.00 for each CD or DVD used.

For a limited time, delivery to Toronto Queens Quay addresses are free of charge (effective until July 31, 2007).

Q: What if I am not happy with the photoedit?

A: Satsifaction is guaranteed for all Pixel Focus photo editing services. To ensure that you are happy with the service, a low-resolution sample image of the finished work will be sent to you via email. If you are not satisfied with the image for any reason, let us know and we will do whatever is necessary to meet your requirements. After you have verified that the sample image is to your liking, we will send you the final high-quality version of the finished work. All sales are final and there are no refunds.

Q: How do I place an order?

A: To place an order, visit our online order page. Estimates can also be requested through the order form.

Q: How does payment work and what kind of payment do you accept?

A: At the moment, we accept cheques and paypal. Please make all cheques payable to "Pixel Focus". An invoice will be sent out when the job is complete. The final product will then be sent out as soon as payment is received. Payments for contract and hourly work will be billed monthly and upon termination of the project.
